Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no paid plan and nothing starts charging later. No account or credit card is required to try it.
Do I need an account?
Your first image needs no account. From the second one, you sign in with Google — still free. Signing in removes the limit, and the image you uploaded while signed out moves to your account.
Do people need to sign in to view a link I share?
No. Anyone with the link can view the image without signing in. Only uploading requires an account.
What changes when I sign in?
Images belong to your account instead of the device, and the upload limit goes away. Your work laptop, home computer and phone all show the same library.
Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP, up to 25MB per file.
Can anyone see a shared link?
Anyone who has the link can. The link contains a random 32-character id, so it can't realistically be guessed.
Can I delete images I uploaded?
Yes, from the image page or from My captures at any time. You can also select several and delete them together. Deleting also disables the shared link.
Can images delete themselves after a while?
Yes. Choose a retention period when you upload (1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days) and the image is removed automatically. You can change it later on the image page.
What if I only want certain people to see an image?
Set a view password on the image page. The link then won't open without the password, and the image no longer appears in social previews.
